OOPS...
... This is quite possibly the stupidest thing I've ever done. I saw a few flakes on Sullivan's scalp under all that hair. I had just read that petroleum jelly takes off cradle cap, so I slathered her locks with the gooey stuff. "Of course," you're saying, "that doesn't shampoo out." But I just did what BabyCenter told me to do.... dumb, I know. They probably weren't talking about babies with hair like hers. After four shampoos and still the greasiest hair ever - so gross - I was freaking out. I got online and discovered that corn starch absorbs the goop and washes out. It took 3 treatments, but it finally came out. Sullivan has very silky, fluffy hair now.

Our friends the Farleys
There are few friends in life who are there for you whenever you need them... and you LOVE to have them around! There are many days we just hang out - and these are some of our greatest days. Our kids love their kids and we love them. Levi seems to gravitate to his crazy "Uncle Mike." Sullivan will surely love her "Aunt Stefanie" too, who is enjoying holding her. Sullivan seems to be posing to show off her "bling."
A day out
We all took Grandma to the airport and ate at the Cheesecake Factory (our family alone could keep this restaurant in business). We laugh because we take so many pictures here - usually with the swirly-backed booths in the background - but it was a very big day to get everyone out. Here are two of my handsome men.

Kitchen companion
Sullivan loves to sit in her bouncy seat on the island counter with me while I cook. She always acts interested for about 30 seconds and then dozes off. But looking at her peaceful sleeping face (at all angles) is good enough for me. It makes cooking even more fun. I look forward to her asking me if she can crack the eggs or stir the cake batter.
New haircuts
Even though I protested, Will took the boys to get their hair cut. I was sad because Zane wanted the dreaded "buzz cut." I wondered why he wanted to get rid of all that beautiful hair. But I was pleasantly surprised, even though it makes Zane look older. The girls at the salon said he looks like Brad Pitt. I say (like a true mother), "Move over, Brad Pitt!"
