Water Baptized!

Zane and Titus decided to be baptized together on January 17th! They've been desiring this public display of their decision to follow Christ for some time now, and our recent study in school of John's baptism of Jesus sparked their interest again. How timely that our church scheduled a baptism on this particular Sunday! What a special time this was for the boys and for Will and me, who rejoice in our children's belief in Jesus as Lord and Savior and their desire to live for Him!



Getting in the baptismal... we were told the water was nice and warm, which was great on a chilly day. This was the calm before a long series of rainstorms that hit CA, starting later that night!

Celebration!

After the baptism, the boys wanted to go have lunch at BJ's to celebrate! We had planned on just going as a family, but ended up going with our sweet friends, the McIntoshs, and another friend Jim. We had so much fun and are so glad we went as a group. Zane and Titus thought it was extra special to celebrate with their supportive buddies, Matthew and David.


Levi keeps talking about when he will get to be baptized! We just want to make sure he understands what it means. He's certainly able; he remembers how he asked Jesus to be his Savior on January 21, 2009!

It was special for us to celebrate with the McIntosh family since we got to witness David's baptism recently.


Grandma loved being a part of such a special day... and she even enjoyed the football on the TV's at BJ's!

Titus' Birthday #2

On January 15th, we had a second birthday celebration for Titus because he really wanted to have his friend David over! Of course, Zane wanted Matthew, and Will and I wanted Kirk and Heather to come, so it was just perfect.


Sullivan had a blast with the red balloons.



I still can't believe our sweet boy is 7!






We all enjoyed Titus' request: Red Velvet Cake! MMMmmmm....



What a great, relaxing evening with wonderful friends! Kirk and Heather are genuine, amazing people.





The McIntosh family spoiled our boy with fun toys like his "Chomp," a bag of marbles and Sea Monkeys. David made him a special paper airplane card too. Thank you so much for celebrating with us; we loved having you all! And we are grateful for our God-given friendship.
