A Sonora Thanksgiving

We enjoyed every moment of our week in Sonora. It was just heavenly to get away and enjoy some cold, crisp weather! We actually got to wear coats. The kids spent most of their time outside, and they got a real thrill out of climbing to the TOP of Grandpa's hay. Sulli didn't, but the boys climbed a very tall ladder. This barn is huge and accommodates a LOT of hay for a lot of cows.

Grandpa let the boys drive his old truck... something all of us country bumpkins got to do when we were little. I used to drive Dad's truck around the alfalfa fields while he threw the hay bails in when I was about 7 or 8.
