You are my Sunshine

I just came across this little movie I've had for a while. This is so sweet.

Puppy Love Dress

This is one of my favorite outfits from Kelly. It's hard to see, but there are two dachshunds falling in love on this dress. And the tights are just too much. It was a perfect dress for a party on a cold, rainy night. During our little shoot, Sulli could hardly leave her shiny shoes alone. She just wanted to eat them. Mom, aren't these thighs priceless?

Happy Birthday, Jesus party!

I meant to take lots of pictures of the boys, namely Zane, doing crafts and things at our Homeschool Christmas party. But there were hundreds of people there, all crammed in the Wood's house, and I could never find Zane. He was off playing with friends. I managed to take about 5 pictures, which included this one of Levi, loving his cookie, and Titus, proudly showcasing the one he decorated. Sullivan enjoyed being handed around from person to person by the fire (here she is with Carri). The other two of her we took when we got home late, and she's still happy after such a long night!

A cold fall day

Okay, Jody, you're going to laugh at me... after your snowy pictures, these are quite silly. But this day was really cold. I think it was in the 50's! The boys were all bundled up, playing outside for about 15 minutes, when they came running in announcing that they NEEDED hot chocolate.

Our Little Echo

We have an echo in our house,
An echo (two) years old,
With dimpled cheek and wistful eyes,
And hair of sunny gold.

This little echo, soft and sweet,
Repeats what others say,
And trots about on tireless feet,
Up stairs and down, all day.

It makes us very careful not
To use a naughty word,
Lest in the echo's lisping tones,
It should again be heard.
Which should be such a dreadful thing,
As any one can see,
Who has an echo in his house,
A little (under) three.

Zane was reading one of his school books the other day and excitedly told me this is his favorite poem because, he said, "It's about Levi!"

New Jackets

The other night while we were out Christmas shopping, the boys came across these jackets they just loved. Since we're going to NM - and there might be snow - we figured they really do need something warm!

Christmas Party!

Every year our Bible study has a Christmas party where everybody brings some food to share, we do a gift exchange, sing and just enjoy the Christmas season. Will and I were happy to host the party at our house this year. Here, Todd is the first to try my red velvet cake.

Christy, Jeff, Tracy and Chad

Todd led us in worship as we sang some beautiful Christmas carols.

Mike, Kristine, Jen, Michelle and Mark

Julia and Michelle

Christy and Denise

Have you noticed I'm always standing next to a cake??

Of course, we played our gift exchange game. Here, Allen and Julia pose with the Josh Groban CD we bought. They really liked it - and then they lost it.

Do we look like love-birds?

Chad and Rachel with their gift! (Sorry for the terrible red-eye!)
